Elegant Home Wine Cellars by Master Builders: Wine Cooling Projects by M&M Cellar Systems
More wine collectors are considering building a wine storage facility in their homes where they can display their wines impressively and store them safely. A wine cellar designed with stunning features will add beauty to your space. Providing your guests with a relaxing place for drinking wine will enhance their wine drinking experience. Your beautiful wine display can be a conversation starter. A wine cellar can increase the resale value of your property, and since it is a feature that most houses do not have, it can attract potential buyers if you plan to sell your property in the future.
In addition to aesthetic benefits, storing your prized wines in a refrigerated wine cellar will ensure that the wines you serve to your friends have aged properly in a stable environment. Our team’s goal is to help our clients preserve the desirable characteristics of their wines for many years to come.
Installing a reliable wine cooling system is a crucial step in wine cellar construction because without it, your wines will deteriorate. With many years of experience, our partners in wine cellar construction have built stylish home wine cellars in California and the nearby areas. We have completed wine refrigeration projects with them using our high-grade wine cooling systems.
A Beautiful Custom Wine Cellar with a Wine Refrigeration Unit from US Cellar Systems
In this home wine cellar in Calabasas, the builder installed beautiful wine racks made from wood. Various racking styles were combined to create an eye-catching wine display area. This wine cellar is located at the center of the home and enclosed in glass, providing a clear view of the client’s wine collection from different areas of the home.
Our team at M&M Cellar Systems installed an RM (Rack Mount) Series 4600 cooling unit from US Cellar Systems. We installed the unit within the ceiling to eliminate the use of racking and wall space. We added a louvered wooden grill to hide the unit and maximize the cold air that gets into the wine cellar. The condenser is located outdoors. Our HVAC technician added a line set to connect the evaporator coil to the condensing unit.
One of the Stylish Home Wine Cellars Built with a Transitional Design and a Wine Cooling Unit from Wine Cellar Systems
One of the home wine cellars built by Vintage Cellars in Orange County exhibits outstanding features that will impress guests. The team installed wood wine racks made from Sapele Mahogany, applied with a Walnut stain and clear lacquer. They used stainless steel metal rods in some sections of the wooden racking.
For the wine cooling unit, we installed the SLD split system from Wine Cellar Systems. We placed it horizontally within the racking and concealed it in a louvered grill. The condenser, which was placed outdoors, has a housing to protect it from external factors.
Wine Cellar Cooling Solutions for Home Wine Cellars
At M&M Cellar Systems, we are composed of HVAC experts who have extensive experience and are trained in installing and servicing wine cellar cooling systems for residential and commercial applications.
We offer different types and brands of wine refrigeration units depending on the needs and requirements of our clients.
Forced Air or Through the Wall Wine Cooling Units for Home Wine Cellars
Our forced-air wine refrigeration unit is the most basic type of cooling system. This window-type unit can only vent air into an adjacent room that is bigger than its maximum cooling capacity, which is 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you are on a tight budget, our forced air cooling system is ideal for you. It is also simple to install, produces minimal noise, and can last up to 8 years.
Split Wine Cellar Cooling Systems
Our Split wine cooling systems are also in demand in building wine rooms. This type of refrigeration unit can be ducted or ductless. A ducted system is ideal for large home wine cellars and requires more work, while a ductless unit is easier to install.
One of the main advantages of a split system is its quiet operation. The two components of the wine cooling system are installed in a separate location. The evaporators of our split wine refrigeration units are quiet. You will only hear minimal sound coming from the fans. The condenser, which is the noisier component, is installed somewhere outside the wine room.
They are costly because their refrigeration lines have to be charged with a refrigerant to perform their function, but in the long run, you will save money because they are designed for maximum cooling efficiency and can last up to 20 years.
Ducted Wine Cellar Refrigeration Units
Just like the forced air wine cooling systems, ducted units have their evaporators and compressors in one housing. One advantage of this type of climate control system is eliminating the presence of equipment in your wine cellar. The system can be installed in a different location in your home, away from your wine room. It can also be placed outdoors with a protective housing.
Ducted wine cooling systems are also known to operate more quietly than forced air units and have a longer lifespan of up to 15 years.
Brands of Wine Cellar Cooling Systems
We offer commercial grade wine refrigeration units from trusted manufacturers like Win Guardian, WhisperKOOL, US Cellar Systems, and CellarPro. It is best to consult with our wine cooling experts to help you choose the brand of wine cooling unit ideal for your needs.
